WHO IS GALEN & WHAT DOES HE DO?
I transform teams. An entrepreneur and performer at my core, I have always been wildly curious and drawn to understand more deeply how and why humans behave and respond to each other, and what makes people tick.
My career started with sales, marketing, and leadership roles, and along the way I also fell in love with improv, which I performed and taught for over 10 years, including touring with the cast from “Whose Line is it Anyway?” I eventually combined my passion for business and love of improv to begin working with teams and leaders to apply the skills and mindsets of improv to increase communications skills, self awareness, EQ, and team dynamics. That launched this path for me, and the opportunity to follow my bliss, which I am grateful to do every day.
Over the last 10 years, through thousands of hours on stage and working with hundreds of brands, I’ve been learning, growing, gathering feedback, and always refining and improving my own skills and content to provide continually better tools for companies and employees to be wildly successful in business.
My day to day is providing keynotes, team workshops, creating content and resources, and doing extended, hands-on work directly with executive teams to build exceptional culture inside organizations. I write many blogs and articles, and release a weekly 5 minutes video to my #culturedrop subscriber list. I have several books in progress around this work, including “Dear Boss, You’re a Shitty Leader,” and have been a guest on a number of wonderful podcasts, including HR Social Hour and World of Work.
I truly love this work and helping teams and humans be better together. I also love to be on this journey with the band of super-humans on my crew, see the rest of my awesome team here.
